About Us
Mission
Statement: To maintain a high standard of dressage training and care
of horse and rider and to create an innovative, compassionate and
profitable beef operation in an environmentally sound manner, supporting
family and community.
Braeburn Farm has always been a family owned and operated farm. Charles
Sydnor bought the first part of the farm in 1975 while working at Duke
University. Over the years the farm has grown to
its
current size of 400 acres.
Charles raises grass fed beef cattle while Cindy and Eliza train horses
and teach riders in dressage. Charles’ eldest son Rusty is a restoration
ecologist living and working in northern California.
Charles and Cindy's younger son, Chad, is currently a law student at
Campbell University.
