www.baileycook.com)
Followed by a very long day finishing up around 5:30 pm.

At this workshop riders will learn how to assess a horse's strengths and weaknesses based on the training scale and how to determine what exercises to be used to design a productive training session for each horse for that given day.

Auditing fee is $25.00 and that includes lunch.  We do not have a covered arena so bring lots of sun screen, hats, a chair, etc.

It will be a fun and educational day.

News from Braeburn

Eliza and Cindy have been busy showing several nice horses this spring at Williamston, Tryon, Pinehurst, and the CDI in Raleigh.

Eliza has been showing Lancer in the "Brentina Cup," which is a modified Grand Prix.  She has been showing Graffini Grace, aka "Gracie" in the "Developing Horse" division, which is a modified Prix St Georges.

Eliza has also been showing horses for some of her clients:  "Winning Hand," a lovely big bay mare, owned by Julie Blume Nye had her debut at the Pinehurst show and was high score winner with a 72+% at Training Level.  Eliza also competed "Bella" for Joan Maynard at Training Level and First Level and won a class with a high score and did very well in another.

Cindy showed "Rose Diamant," owned by Susan Haas, at Williamston in  2nd level, with a second and a first place.  At the Pinehurst show, the pair entered 3rd Level and placed well, although not quite winning either class.  The mare is a lovely liver chestnut with much talent and kind heart.

Cindy also showed her beloved "Onno," a Dutch gelding by Ferro, at the Intermediaire 1 at the Pinehurst show, where they did well, with a first on Sunday.

News of Honey Locust Horses

A big congratulations to Betsy McCray and her daughter, Elizabeth, on the purchase of First In Time.  This lovely mare will stay in training with Eliza through Christmas and then head to St. Andrews College with Elizabeth.  They make quite a pair, and we're so happy that "Bay Baby" has found such a wonderful home.

There are still many wonderful horses available at Honey Locust.  Please check out our sales page or visit www.honeylocustfarm.com to find out more about these super prospects.
